What color are these silkie chicks ?

    What color are my babies ? I will post what I think they are, tell me if I'm right or wrong ! [​IMG]
    They are around 5-6 weeks I think.

    Cuckoo ?

    Splash or Cuckoo ?

    Blue ?

    Splash - Has colored feathers

    Black - I'm pretty sure I'm correct on this one !

    can you fan out the wings on the possible cuckoos. they could also be grey. if all the bars line up when you fan then they are cuckoos. I think you have everybody else right.[​IMG][​IMG]
    here is one of my young cuckoos a little older than yours

    a cuckoo will have same pattern over the whole body

    there is a wide range of shades that fall under partridge. they look kind of brownish yellow in the pics, if they were more silver they would be grey. It will be fun to see how they grow out

    Likely blue partridge; definitely not cuckoo.

    they might be girls, the males have a more red/orange color as chickletts. The females are not as red, more a yellow tinge. Also if male, the red comes in faster on the head, where a female has a darker (more Blackish) head.
