What color silke and serama do I have?
The serama has a black and white tail.
looks like columbian and then the silkie is partridge.
Don't know about the Serama, but the silkie is a partridge.
I actually dont know if it is a serama now. I cannot seem to find that color anywhere... hmm I will have to get a better picture.
She is a super tiny thing too, the "serama"
the silkie is partridge and the serama might be silver quail but it's hard to tell without a full body pic.
Quote:yeah I need to get a better pic of her... she almost looks like a japanese batam too with her tail..
Her ears are such a pretty opal color, hence her name being opal.
Your little hen is so cute! She reminds me of one of my dark Norwegian Jaerhons. I don't have a picture of her, but I do have a pic of a roo with similar coloring that I sold to a BYCer in North Carolina. Maybe it will help? The Jaers are a small standard size bird ...What color is your hen's legs?
she's a definatly a serama! here's a picture of my pet type silver quail pullet
Totally not sure! She is such a pretty buff yellow color with this great black and white tail... I need to look at her a bit more tomorrow in the light... I didnt get to hold her until dusk.
