Explain extra special pen and why you think the hens may get hurt?

cause im getting a saxony drake, and he could hurt the call hens if not separated from, couldn't he?

They shouldn't be kept together during breeding season. However only the calls have a true season, so yes they need seperate housing. Don't forget they are easily taken by every kind of predator flying and ground.

As far as color goes, they are like potatoe chips, everyone has a favorite, and no one can ever have just one.

IMHO, I don't even chance putting my calls in with the larger ducks. I've spent a lot of money on my calls ( [IMG] ) and I would prefer them to live instead of being molested by a 8 pound drake. [IMG]

But everyone has their opinion and this is mine.
