What color is my male?

So obviously this would be my first thread. Questions about colors.

I have looked at colors and I'm thinking hes a double factor blueface but what throws me off is his feather banding. No male blueface ive seen on the internet has this sort of banding pattern on the feathers

These pictures arent the best and I did try to take a proper photo but he did NOT cooperate.

He has the obvious dark red vent feathers, crows, takes care of his mate and I've seen him mount her so i assume him being female can be ruled out as the cause of the pattern. Does anyone know what it might be or even have a cock with a pattern like that?

The pictures are too blurry but it's either a Tibetan or a Rosetta.

He looks almost exactly like the double blue face button I had years ago : D When you breed him/hatch the eggs be sure to update us on their colors!

Ooh, I don't know too much about button quail coloring (they are button quail, right?) I read somewhere (here: http://www.zebrafinch.com/NewButtonquail/Recognized_Varieties.html) that they often have white facial and breast markings (just the hens?), but I know others on here will know better!

I certainly plan to! I'm definitely interested in seeing what his chicks look like. And I'll keep one or two female chicks since he has a very broody personality
