My sister got this bantam cochin frizzle at a sale. What color is he? [IMG]

She is wanting to breed him to black bantam cochins. What colors would she get? Thanks

He kind of looks like a brown/red. Im no genetics guru but i'd say if you bred him to a smooth feathered black cochin you would get brown/reds?

Here is a pic of one of my brown/red pullets and one of my cockrel who i am gonna breed to a black hen

Thanks for the guess. He is different. I think his color looks more orange than red. He is still young so he might change.

I would said partridge and I think he is a frizzle/frizzle breeding so breed him to a straight feather. You should get some nice frizzle. The color I think most will be like him.
