What color is this coturnix quail?

    This is him as a baby, he looked like a italian/golden speckled but the dark stripes were replaced by a cinnamon looking color

    And this is him now, his speckles are a rusty/cinnamon color. He came in a batch of eggs that were supposed to be cinnamon range.

    He's a golden italian, it's easy to breed the black spotting out of golden roos with a little line breeding.

    Thanks for the reply, the eggs I ordered were supposed to be all cinnamon or roux but only 3 hatched and one was white, one was a weird cinnamon looking color and then there was the striped one.

    Oh yeah and would you consider this color cinnamon or something else?

    Thanks, I guess I'll keep her out of my cinnamon pen, she does look super orange colored
