What Color is this?? Lemon Blue

    What colour would you call my rooster?

    Not the best photo for color but he is mostly blue splash with lemon / yellow coming through on his head.

    Do I call him a lemon blue?

    I am not sure if it a lemon blue splash or not? Here is a picture of my cochins and maybe you can see the color and compare, the lemon blue splash is in the front....

    Yes, He really is Beautiful.

    The photo shows the yellow/lemon looking a bit brownish but in life it really it is lemon...lovely, I am really happy with him.

    He is likely a "Lemon splash" [​IMG] - He has the lemon coloring in all the right places, but he may also just be a splash with gold leakage. . . Only offspring could say for sure.

    I would guess leaky gold splash or a sun tinted splash i wouldn't say lemon splash

    he is really nice [​IMG] do you feed alot of corn sometimes it can make the hackles especially yellow ?

    No, He gets fed a mix of layer pellets and a muesli grain mix with lots of fruit and veggies as treats.

    He developed the real lemon colour from about 10 weeks old and he is now 12 months old.
