It's an olive egger, so half easter egger and half blue birchen marans. It looks like a very pale grey-green color, sage colored perhaps. Definitely not yellow, and not really white either. Two pics of her, but they don't show the subtlies of her color very well.

This one might be the most accurate as far as color goes with the darkening on the head with a green tinge to it.

Not sure, but it's pretty! It'll be interesting to see what color the feathers grow in. [IMG]

Looks like a lavender colour or self blue. Could you post pictures of the parents?

Right know it look like a off White color but it might not be that color when it gets older. EE's have been known to change colors quite a-bit.

What color is your EE? Could it be a splash?

Whatever color it is, it's the cutest little thing.

Both parents have blue coloring on them, I don't know what it takes genetically to get lavender or splash. I would be so happy if it was a splash, I've been wanting one for a long time now. I did also get a solid blue and a black, so maybe a splash makes sense. Chick pictures are on this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=346392&p=2 on page 2 and 3.

    Here are the parents:

Dad was a blue birchen marans

A blue to blue mating will give you some splash.

Oh, she's beautiful. The parents are lovely too.

I see you are from Corvallis -- I have a dear friend in nearby Philomath.
