What color of silkie is this considered?

    What color of silkie would this be considered? What color would her babies be if she was crossed with a white silkie rooster? [​IMG]

    It probably was a brown and white silkie cross and it's brown will probably spread more across it's body

    It's a non-standard (mixed) color. Given that most white silkies are recessive white it is impossible to predict what the offspring would be when crossed to a white. Recessive white acts as an off switch, preventing colors and patterns from expressing themselves. You do not know what genes he carries. Add to that the non standard genetics she has, you can't tell what you will get. It could be anything.

    Ok thanks it will be fun to see what her chicks look like she just started doing the egg squat so should get eggs soon.
