what color polish chicks are these and are they both girls

    What color are these chicks called. They certainly don't look like golden laced and thats all I could find in this gold color. Are they just really bad laced. One has lacing in its head feathers and the other one is all black. Are they boys or girls? Thanks
    They are 7 weeks old

    They're just hatchery quality golden laced. Pretty though! [​IMG] Not sure about the gender. [​IMG]

    I think I will just call them golden polish;)
    Does anyone know if they are male or female?

    They are young so the lacing should become more pronounced as the birds get older. They should look better in another 6 weeks. I would guess you have one male and one female. I think the male is the one with lacing in the head feathers and the female is the one with the black crest.

    Ok great thank you. I am not going to show them or even breed them so it is ok that they don't have perfect lacing. They are both real sweet and friendly anyways. But good to know that they may change with age.
