Hi there I want to know how many broiler strains are there in the world today. I have the following Aviagen, Arber Acres, Cobb, Ross which is owned by Aviagen and etc.

  2. Quote:Do you want to know the number of strains or simply the number of breeding companies producing those strains. Each of the major breeding companies have many strains, some for sale and others for research, that they have. The strains were developed for different purposes: Breast Yield, feed efficiency, heat tolerance, etc.
