What could it be?

Latley my rooster has been showing some odd signs, he will yawn, followed by making a small noise, shake his head and shivers.
I looked into gapeworm, but he doesn't seem to have trouble breathing (gaping), wheezing, or have a runny nose, I did the Q tip test and found nothing so I'm out of ideas.

Do you have a worming program so you are certain that it isn't gape worm? You could always get some droppings sampled at a poultry vet to see if there are eggs from some type of parasite.

Most likely he is adjusting his crop.

Hes been yawning and making that noise and scratching his head a lot more lately.
we've been dusting him for lice and gave them worming medicine and that hasn't seemed to curb what he's doing.
