The first pic looks like a turkey, but I am unable to determine size from the picture. Is the second picture the same bird?

It is definately a game bird of some type; pheasant, quail, etc.

The pics are of the same bird. This chick was given to me from someone that found it in their backyard in an area that there are no chickens or other known captive birds. The lady gave it to me saying it was a chicken but I know better than that.

It looks to be about a week old at the most. It has the beginnings of feathers on the wings. It is larger and taller than a normal standard size chick (ie: cochin chick). Its legs and head is out of proportion with the rest of the body. Kinda funny looking but adorable at the same time.

Seems very skinny, not sure if it will make it. Thanks for your responses.

I'd say it's a ring neck too. If it is a ring neck it's too bad the person picked it up, the mom was probably close by.

How long have you had it? I wonder if you can return it to it's mom??
