what do marans feet look like

    what do marans feet look like thanks
    pics would be good
    by the way can marans have long flowing tails

    On the tails - Technically no. They should be shorter than average, males having sickles even that are less curved than average.

    As for feet, don't have a photo immediately available but the soles should be a whiteish pink color, the shanks should be either white/pink or black with a blue tinge. And, of course, they should be moderately feathered all the way from the thigh to the tip of the outer toe.

    then what kind of rooster's body and head look like a maran of sorts the legs are black and the tail looks like a beautiful greenish color that is very long and flowing and very curved

    Foot feathering depends on whether bred to English or French standard. I'm not certain which variation made it into the APA standard, but *think* it is clean-legged. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong on that.
