I put APPLE CIDER VINEGAR in mine, Just wondering what others put in theres? Thanks
apple cider vinegar if not in galvinzed container.
sometimes garlic for immune support!
just for the first week I put in pedi-la-ite, and if i have a sick chick or hen in the M.A.S.H. coop (what we call the chicken hospital) i add some then as well.
I used to put ACV in my water every time I filled the waterer. However, I read several comments about people being "wary" of ACV. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any reasons why.
Quote:Will the apple cider vinegar eat away the galvanized waterer?
I have used a teaspoon of ACV in a gal. of water for my ladies since they hatched and have no problems ,but I do use
a large plastic waterer.
Quote:Yes, the acid in the vinegar reacts with the metal.
Red Cell, Apple Cider Vineger (with Mother), garlic, vitamin & electrolyte mix - but never all at the same time!
Oh and I use plastic waterers.
In my water ? SCOTCH!
apple cider vinegar??? what does that do?
