If you use one of these, I'm curious what you put inside?

I have a hen w/ fatty liver disease so I prefer not to put in seeds or fatty treats.

I like rolled oats and dried meal worms. But the girls kick them all out in about 15 minutes. I'm trying to make it harder for them to get the treats out and make the fun last longer.

I tried chopped up parsley and raisins this morning and that lasted about a half hour.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, taking a plastic bottle, one with some stiffness to it like the container that whole peppercorns comes in, drill some holes in it, works better. Just takes more effort to create.

And the clear plastic I feel works better because the hens can see what's in it and that makes them want to work for it more.

But it just rolls around. Where as the yellow round one, my Jersey Giant actually kicks it or rolls it w/ her beak between her legs and jumps over it. It's more interactive.
