I've really been enjoying spring here at our new place and thought I'd share some of it with y'all. [IMG] Please feel free to share pictures from around your place, too!

This flower was a mystery to me, but I have come to learn that it is a Primrose. It is just growing in the yard. DH mowed over it on Friday, so I'm hoping it will come back!

My favorite of all the daffodils growing here (they are everywhere here!)

My white Magnolia Trees bloomed way early and most of the blooms got frosted... this is one of the few that survived.

The pink Magnolia bloomed later and has most of its blossoms.

    A B&W of some Forget-Me-Nots

Forget-Me-Nots in color - I LOVE their vibrant blue coloring!

A Bradford Pear Tree blooming in the front yard.

    Violas are growing wild everywhere.

I'm thinking this may be some kind of crab apple
    [IMG]

Pretty flowering tree in the edge of the woods (maybe some kind of plum or else another crab apple?)

The sun shining through the HUGE apple tree in the back yard

Not a very good picture, but these are Bluets, my favorite spring wildflower.

Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous. You have a real gift for photography. Thank you for sharing. I'm afraid I don't any pictures as beautiful to post - it's already getting really sweltering hot here so our Spring blooms are long since gone.

Thanks Ruth. [IMG] You're more than welcome to post some pics anyway... it doesn't have to be just spring blooms.

And this is the house I grew up in! 900 square feet of cozy old fashioned cabin. (note the neglected lawn~)
