what duck breed should i get?

next year i am planning to get 1-3 more girl ducks to put in with my pekin drake (i already have two girls) and i want some opinions on breed!

so...
1) temperament - i want friendly ducks, as my ducks are pets and all love to be picked up and carried around the yard. i heard some breeds are more scared of people?

2) broodiness - i want atleast one duck that will go broody and hatch out babies, and so far i have khaki and rouen hens. they aren’t very broody?

3) size - i have a pekin drake, rouen hen, khaki hen, and a khaki drake (he will be kept seperate and get another drake friend). so only the pekin boy will be with the girls

lots of people told me the khaki would be fine, but she is less than half his size i think

I think the khaki will be fine if you have other bigger breeds

It would be impossible for me to recommend silver Appleyards highly enough! They are a large breed with charming personalities and fantastic foraging prowess (see ya slugs and snails that used to plague our garden). They are also prolific egg layers and rumoured to be great moms (we have two sitting right now, so I'll let you know!).

He will but I was just saying get bigger breeds if you are going to get hens so he won't only have smaller ducks to mate with

i was thinking a muscovy, a cayuga, and maybe an ancona. not sure on their size though
