I have chicks (well there almost 5 months old now, but they look like 3 month old chicks and not growing as fast). I used Blue Seal Grower Pellets and the bag is almost gone and it seems it made them grow alittle bigger.

Should I just stick with feeding them the grower pellets? It has 15% protein.. Or should I just buy egg layer pellets that are like 18+% protien? I need know the fastest way to make them grow..

    Thanks.

I'd probably get the layer, if only for the higher protein.

At 5 months I would be feeding them layer rations.

I agree. At about 20 weeks I switch to layer pellets. I have had leghorns start laying around 20 or so weeks.
