What Gender? and supposed to be Barred Rock could be mixed Breed .

At one point i thought this was a pullet being sex- Link Breed and legs black no whit on head . Now i’m stumped It will be 3 weeks old Wednesday. i have one i defenitt know is a rooster all his feathers have come in with spots and his come growing in just a day and pink. Here are some pics of he or she. Rooster where eggs came from are Isa Brown, Sussex Breeds, Orpingtons, Plymouth Rock Breeds , Blue Plymouth Rock

so will add some pics of the chick I do think is a rooster with his spots that have come in.

The one with spots, like you said, definitely a rooster. 1st one might be A hen, but I think it‘s slightly too early to tell.

Thank you , I’ll try to be patient I really want to keep that one I have to keep the Rooster because he was born with Slipped tendons and they didn’t heel 100 percent . He can’t be bullied they will have there own coop and run beside my other flock of 6 .

Is be ok with that He is Black but has black legs there not supposed this is why it leads me to believe he is not full breed

Here he/she is at 5 weeks still acting like a rooster chest bumping with the white one pouncing on it constantly to the point i can hardly pick it up . I thought they could both be roosters but i also read hens display this behavior at this age . I believe the white one could be a splash orpington? based on the eggs i bought . I am still on the shelf about the Barred Rock .
