So I got a bunch of different breeds so it's been a bit difficult compariby whom may be hens and whom may be cocks.

Pictures 1 and 2 is my austrolorp at 8-9 weeks old.
Pictures 3 and 4 is my Pekin Bantam which I think may be a frizzle - 9 weeks old.

Picture 5, 6, 7 and 8 chicks are 2 buff orpingtons 5-6 weeks old

Thanks

Hi! If the Orps in pics 5 and 6 are 5-6 weeks old I think they may be cockerels. Let's see what others have to say.

That's what I was suspecting at the moment but I didn't know if they were too young to tell! Im new to this How do I get more help on my forum?

I think the Australorp in the first pic is a cockerel. Mine is a bit over 12 weeks old and she has no wattles at all and a tiny colorless comb.

The photo probably doesn't help because it was facing the red light in the brooder.. this is a better photo with it away from that light it's actually pale and not red at all really.
