what gender are my silkies?

Here are my daughters two partridge silkies (sun and shine) they are 3 mos. are they old enough to tell the sex?

I'd guess a pullet and cockerel. One seems more macho looking to me lol

It's hard to tell with only two. I have a pretty good guess when I'm watching them interacting with each other. Boys tend to fight more whereas the girls are generally content to just peck and be calm.

so at this age there would be a color difference? One of them has shiner feathers on it neck but the photo dosen't really show it.

yes a cockerel would already be showng his coloring. shiny feathers just mean they are healthy birds
