Ok so I got two welsh harlequin ducklings from rural king over a month ago. Now that they are bigger I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the gender of them. I've never had ducks before and all the stuff I read online contradicts each other. If anyone can I help I would be very grateful!!

Oh ok the bin at rural king said welsh harlequin but some one must have put him in the wrong bin. I don't remember seeing any swedish but I geuss I never looked
Ah, I'm no expert on ducks, my brother used to raise them that's were I get my info from. Just wait it out, someone who knows will come along

Holy cow, I had to scroll for like a half hour to get to the bottom of the page.

The light one appears as though it will be female.

The dark one is not a Harlequin.. and agree it appears to be a black Swedish male... starting to get some nice green on his head.

As they grow the female will remain a loud quack and the male voice will become more of a soft raspiness. Eventually he will get a cute little curl on his tail. :)

How awesome looks like you got a pair! A female welsh (I'd say silver phase because of the grey head) and a male black swedish (because of the nice green on his head). They will make cute baby mut ducks if you let them.
