What gender in my chick?

    I've had Nugget for about a month and he already had wing feathers when I bought him. Any guesses?

    Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. That looks like a bit of serious comb development, so I'd be inclined to say cockerel. However, since I don't know the breed, I could well be wrong. I'm sure others with a lot more experience will be along soon to either confirm or dispel my thoughts.

    Any breed not fully feathered out yet with a comb that big is definitely a cockerel... not sure of breed though, will need to see him once he's fully feathered with view of his legs as well...
