What gender is my 8 wk old silkie chick

Hello, I'm not sure the gender of my 8 wk old silkie chick.

Looks like a pullet, but silkies are one of the hardest breeds to sex. If you notice streamers coming out of the crest then it is most likely a cockerel. For now I’m going with pullet. Very cute regardless of sex.

Would you please post a photo of head with crest held back to display full extent of comb. Looks like a wide, fat comb (like a toad) females generally have a longer, slim comb and not so gnarly. This IS extremely early to attempt to sex a silkie. Often you can't be positive till they crow or lay eggs. Beautiful bird at this age.

This is what it's parents look like. It's dad did not have a walnut comb, so he wasn't the best looking silkie. But it's mother is a very nice looking bird. In this picture she's all dirty, taking a dust bath
