Need your help guys! I want to believe this one is a female, but I'm having my doubts. In the morning it makes a "caaaaw" sound, almost like a cat meow, nothing like a cock-a-doodle-doo. Age is about 5 months. So here are the pics:

Is this a hen or a roo?

Is she Frita or is he Fred?

This is the sister, Thelma who I am almost certain is a hen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. These are my first chickens since I had broilers in FFA in high school. Thanks in advance guys!

The solid black is a cockerel, the bottom hen is gorgeous. What color is she?
