What gender is this barred rock?

Hello people of BYC!

I have this 15 week barred rock and I’m still not sure what gender Scamp is. At the beginning I was told Scamp was a female but I didn’t really know after the feathering on the chest started changing (can see in pictures). Scamp is an odd one, not really wanting to be around the other two and running away when they come close, they do peck Scamp but all s/he does is run away and hide. Not sure if that’s even a sign of a female hen or a scared rooster.

The markings on the chest are different from the rest of the body.

That feathering is kind of odd but at 15 weeks I think a cockerel would be showing a larger redder comb and waddles. My vote is girl. Not an expert though.

It's a female.
The feathering is off because it's not a pure barred rock. Hoover's produced these all last season.

Female. Doesn’t look like a pure barred rock. If it is it’s a extremely bad quality one.
