    For 5 months old I would say Pullet. Although that steep pitched tail may suggest cockerel. Maybe someone else may have a better idea than me. [​IMG]

    Those reddish wings say male to me, but that's the only thing. How sure are you on age?

    Do you know who the parents are, specifically who the barred parent was, mother or father?

    He will be 5 months on 23... how he got the barred idk... mother is a pearl Leighton and father is a amberlink. I dont even have a black hen or roo. All white chickens and I get this. I think a hawk came to visit ;) jkjk

    Sorry again. My wife just reminded me that this mother if this chick we think is a barnyard mix. The mother is all white now with one black spot on the base of her tail. Now when she was younger it there was quiet a few brown and black spots. This pic is her at a younger age and later in her young life her breast became a amber color [​IMG]
