Clean eye with warm water, you can purchase an eye antibiotic ointment(i use one for sties,in Canada it is called Polysporin 2 antibiotic eye ointment for sties)if eye appears infected, make sure antibiotic does NOT contain any ingredients ending with "cane/caine"toxic to chickens.

Chick may have scratched or another chick may have pecked eye.

    Use a q-tip when cleaning/applying ointment,be careful of nostrils.

ok i tried that and he looks alot better. i think when he was first hatched and put in the brooder he was still kinda wet so some shavings stuck to his eye but he can open it now so hopefully it will get better
