What happened to the chat room?

I was on it earlier today, but now it's *POOF*! No link at the top of the page. Does this happen when there is no more room for people, or has it been taken down?

Some of the language there lately has me wondering..."IS IT BEING MONITERED??"

We pop in from time to time, but everyone behaves when a mod is around.

If anyone has any complaints about chat, please copy and paste the chat into an email and send it to one of the mods.
Add a description as to the offender. There is the ability to change screen names in chat, so if the offender changes his or her name, please include that part of the chat in the copy and paste.

wow, im sorry you have had that experience, i really thought they were well behaved, i guess they behave while im on there too!!!

I'm in chat often and everyone behaves. Every so often it gets a little
colorful or just crazy but never profane. Vulgar words are filtered out
automatically. Many kids, including my son, are in there constantly. I have
never experienced anything vulgar or nasty.

Sometimes, when a mod or Nifty comes in it gets a little quiet for a minute.
We debate things in there more so than we do in the forum. After a brief
pause it gets crazy again. Terry was in there last night when we were
acting whacky and she fit right in. Silkiechicken is a regular too.

I can't comment on it being monitored but it is definately logged.

well chat is all messed up tonight. was working fine then all of a sudden it seemed like it froze and every time i hit send it went into cyber space.then showed up later .
but every time i go back on it goes right back to where it froze on me. with the new conversation at the top instead of bottom.
