The page is currently unavailable. Does anyone know if this is temporary? Unfortunately the error message is in a foreign language.

It's loading at his new url:
    http://kippenjungle.nl/kruising.html

For a couple months he had a note on the original location to change bookmarks to the new url. Looks like the old one is finally gone now. But all is well at the new link....works exactly as before.

    I love the thing [IMG]

Me too. I will have to know a lot more before I can use it, I think.

Probably the easiest way to get started is to click the "show examples" button beside the roo. Choose your breed of roo from the pics (name of breed also shows when you point at the pics). Then click the "show examples" button beside the hen, choose breed. Then click the "calculate crossing" button.

Try that...come back and post if you got that much to work. Then we'll move forward if you want to.

The giant list of chickens that appears when you hit "calculate crossing" is all the genotypes. Scroll down and you get to phenotypes, the important part. There are a lot of gentypes that will get you the same color, and that is what the upper portion shows. But if you just want to know, how many chicks will be this color?, the simple version is underneath all those pics with the lists of genes.
