What in the world? "Hen" acting like she is crowing

    I was in the henhouse, and two of the hens are doing a "silent" crow thing. Weird. They are acting fine otherwise. What is up with that? They are 13 and 26 weeks.

    They try. It sounds bad. [​IMG]

    No rooster, I presume? In the absence of a rooster, some hens "attempt" to take the role, after a sort.

    No, lol, there is a rooster with them, along with "Waddles," the rooster's girlfriend (they are about a year old)

    Actually, we have the rooster, Waddles(Her comb is floppy,lol) and 13 hens in that coop. We have Big Red, and his three girls in the smaller coop.
