We bought this young roo as a 'Black Giant' but he definately has a mix - any thoughts on what's in that mix??

Minus his head and neck, his body looks exactly like my EE roo, which was a hatchery "Black Ameraucana" but the roo & his four hens lay green or pink eggs, 2 of each color...

Does he have feathered legs? He looks like a BC maran.

Yes - absolutely agree he is a beautiful young roo. [IMG]. His legs are black so he is probably mostly Jersey Giant - and he has no feathers on his legs.
