I'm looking to pick up a "blond proof" inexpensive incubator that works well for ducklings. What do you use that you love/hate? How many eggs can your model hold?

I have a hove bator from [=Incubators.org][/] holds 42 eggs, works great!

Inexpensive and good quality don't really go together.

I know that people do get hatches from those little Styrofoam incubators. If you want "easy" buy the automatic egg turner.

Get the temperature and humidity adjusted before you put the eggs in there.

"relatively good quality" is enough.... obviously there wouldn't be a market for 600$ incubators if cheap models were flawless.

Be prepared and willing to accept batches of eggs not hatching at all, or getting 1 duckling. The breed of duck could also impact your hatch as some are harder than others.
