I'm quite new to all of this but out of the 4 different breeds I have right now, I like the Silver laced wyandotte, she is such a sweety

I love my RIR BANTMAS they are so sweet and tame, they let me pick them up and hold them, they lay almost everyday and are beautiful. i got them from a local farm at three months old, they are about 10- 11 months old now.
I have other breeds but these are my faves.

I think a good breed is in the eye of the beholder. For me, so far I love my Brahmas for their large stateliness and dependable big appetites.
For friendliness and curiosity, I love Easter Eggers. And last but not least, I love the tiny cuteness of my Silkie, she's got so much spunk for something so little. [IMG]

I am a big fan of Mediterranean breeds. I gotta say LF Light Brown Leghorns. They're just so classic to me. I also think they are really elegant.

Leghorns - pretty to the eye and awesome dependable egg producers.

Orpington's! They are big, fluffy and sweet as can be. Wyandottes are very flighty.

All my Orps come running up to me wanting to be held!
