What is a Waddle?

    I should be getting good at this by now...i know what the hackle feathers are but now i am trying to sex barred rocks, silver wyandottes(sp?) and some kind of black chicken and i have no idea what a waddle is!!! Please Help!!!

    I think you mean "wattle" and that would be the flaps of red skin that hang down under the beak....

    Waddle is what a duck does when it walks.

    Wattle is the red "dangly" things underneath the beak of the bird.
    Some breeds have larger wattles than others.

    The Wattles are the flaps of red skin either side of the beak. It is the things that hang from the chin of a chicken the cartoon drawings.
