I have a fan inside my incubator and it has led readings for temp and humidity. On the screen it says 37.5 c temp - 23% humidity. My eggs went into lock down yesterday.
I don't have a clue why its reading this and my exo terra hygrometer is reading 53% which is lower than wanted. Added a little water, to which it went to 64% but incubator one hasn't moved. I put yet another hygrometer in left it some time and that says 38%- 39.4 temp? Everything else still pretty much reading the same as before. Added a fourth hygrometer to the system and that reads 47c temp - 78% humidity! Why is there so many readings? I can't understand what has happened. I also have the basic Mercury style thermometer which reads the same as incubator so I'm going to go on that for the temp. Has anyone else ever had anything like this? They worked fine previously, however my last hatch has 8 out of 10 go into lock down and all grew very far and died in lockdown, two pipped and 1 of those zipped half round. Which is the reason I have so my therms and hygros!

Also, going on my eggs air sac is a little hard as some are slightly smaller than should some are perfect and one or two are quite large! Is my fan not doing its job and it's not circulating everything right! I'm really stuck and don't want to lose these babies :'(

What type of incubator is it? The extra thermometers and hygrometers you have in there are they calibrated so you know they are giving a correct reading?

As for the air sacs are your eggs porous at all? The more porous the egg the more moisture it will lose. I've had this in my eggs I have in lockdown now. Just one egg was quite porous and the air sac has grown much larger than the others that look on track.

It's not an actual make, I purchased it from eBay and have had previous good hatches from it although have only hatched 3 times. I will upload pictures to show you.
How do I calibrate them?
oNly one has a cable with a metal but attached. Again, will show pics if I can.
Not sure on how porous they are will show in pictures. Thank you
