Any idea what is doing this? Didn't even eat the chicken, just snacked on my turkey.

I have buried hardware cloth so it would to have gone over 2x4 horse fencing.

I am sorry you have issues going here. Very sorry for you loss. A fox, coyote, or bob cat carries at least one off. You have a raccoon. Live traps work, shoot them with a 22 in the trap or drown them. After that they make great fertalizer or you can burn them or send them to the land fill. Dont stop with one, I bet you got several.

Thank you. How do you catch/kill one other than a Have-a-heart trap? There is a duck gone too.

Quote:What ever it was was very very quiet because I have two Rotties that live right outside these pens. I know it wasn't them.

Looks like racoon(s) work. Had lots of experience with those sneaky, nasty critters. [IMG] One even killed my CAT.

Hope you get it soon, whatever did this. So sorry.

I HAD racoon problems and caught one with a have a heart....and I have no heart and no gun. I drowned him in a big bin of water while still in the cage, lifted the cage up with a broom stick and put him in!

*That being said, please do not gloat or suggest torturous ways of killing for pleasure or indeed, post in such a way that your predator control can be construed as pleasure killing instead of simply taking care of a problem.

Since raccoons are carriers of rabies I think this is a bad idea.

Actually, there are about 50 reasons this is a bad idea but the rabies is enough.
