I've a new rooster too:

I'm guessin' he's a Barred Rock, or a NJ Giant...he's growin' pretty fast!

& I am guessin' that my Red hen is a RIR or a Red Sex Link...

Awesome! Another Layer...! My Australorp is a dual purpose from what the teacher told us...

I kinda figured she's a RIR, she's not too people personal like my Australorp...

My Barred Rock though is VERY friendly...

None of my RIR hens are friendly but my little RIR roo chick LOVES to be scratched and rubbed under the wings. He must think he is a parrot seeing as I let him perch on my hand still.

your roo is not a barred rock.... rocks have yellow legs and single comb...

The girl is Production Rhode Island Red.Boy is Dominique mix.He has rose comb like Dominique but is growing golden feathers on his back-which say mix.Dominique dos not have gold
