I have an austalorp rooster. Sometimes I see him waggling his head from side to side. We had a leghorn roo who did this as well. It makes me laugh because it looks like he is trying to wiggle his wattles.
Is this normal rooster behavior, something to be concerned about, or just odd?

I have not noticed that in the two roos that i have had, but if your other roo did the same thing, then i can only assume its normal?

My males have done it, it's normal. I can only assume they have water on their wattles or an itch.

I've read that they do that to make the wattles sway back and forth to entice the girls.......or he could have water on his wattles.
