So I live in eastern Pennsylvania. I have one Pekin duck probably around 10 months old and I have two Rouens who are around 1 month to 2 months old. I just want to know what is normal behavior for an adult duck to act towards the babies. So far I've noticed that my Pekin sorta circles them and sometimes even chases them down and tries to lay on top of them. I stop her right away because I don't know if she's going to hurt them, so I just wanted to know if this is normal or is she just being a bully.
Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Welcome to BYC!

I personally wouldn't suggest mixing such young birds with an adult bird especially if she's exhibiting such behavior.

@Kevin565 thank you. And alright I was hesitant with leaving them alone. Yesterday I was holding the babies while sitting on the floor and she jumped at me, so I'm going to hold off the meeting between the three of them for now. Do you suggest any tips for introducing them or ways for them to get friendlier together? Or does it all depend on their personalities??
