She just turned two in July makes a funny sound and lays a tiny egg. She is smaller than our Yellow Japanes batam rooster. Her name is pepper (boys pick the weirdest names) and one of our favorites. She has always been standoffish even as a chick.

If I was as small as she was I would stay away from the lady in the ugly boots to I guess. Thanks for the input. She doesn't have the long legs of the Old English Game Birds. It is like someone put her in a copy machine and hit reduce by 75%.

That is a hatchery style Spangled Old English.

Moderns are the ones with long legs not Old English

How weird...usually dwarfism makes chickens look like bowling balls instead of a smaller chicken.

Thanks! I wish I could record her she makes the funniest sound not chicken like at all. She is the only one that can squeeze out under the door and fly out besides Princess the Yellow Japanese rooster.
