I've bought a few misters off amazon to keep the hens cool during the summer. They work well at keeping the poor things from panting in the heat, BUT they definitely end up soaking the bedding.

Can anyone recommend a misting device that perhaps makes a fine enough mist that it evaporates before it hits the ground? I thought I'd read a review about one like that, but now I can't find it anymore.

  2. I bought a cobra mister from home depot, it works well but I keep it out in their run vs inside the coop. I don't know if you are going to find a mister that will mist fine enough to evaporate before it hits the ground. I like it outside in their run because it makes the soil moist and they dust themselves will cool soil and feel better.
