What do you use to identify your different baby chicks? I have seen the spiral leg bands, but they are kind of expensive for a "once in a while" hatcher. Any suggestions? [IMG]

I used those last time and they were hard to get off, but maybe I was just not doing it right LOL!

I use a toenail clipper and cut them off. Just be sure not to get a toe at the same time.

They have darker feathers, but lighter legs, maybe I can use a marker on the legs?

I saw someone who used velcro bands. They said they got it at Walmart. The kind that sticks to itself.
