Can anyone tell what breed of chick is in between the white leghorn and Ameraucana?
Can only guess without seeing the head and the rest of the bird. It looks to be a blue laced Wyandotte, but I'm only guessing, better photos would help.
We need a better photo, but I think it is an Easter Egger.
I agree. A better photo showing the comb would be helpful. I suspect it's an Easter egger though. A blr Wyandotte would have more lacing and yellow legs rather than slate.
Still looks like a Wyandotte to me, or mixed with one because of the leg color.
I'm still going with Easter egger. I had one that looked almost exactly like her that came from one of the big hatcheries (McMurray, I think). Clean faced, pea combed, green legged and with coloring that resembled a blr Wyandotte but with less lacing. She laid huge blue eggs.
Thanks everyone. I hope mine lays blue eggs!
