I don't understand! I've read that the offspring of 2 RSLs is not an RSL. But it has to be called something! Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

A mix. RSL are not a breed, they're a cross that enables you to tell the gender of chicks from the color of their down at hatch. Breeding them together eliminates this auto-sexing, it's a one generation thing. The chicks that result don't really have a name, they're just mixes.

A sex link is a mix/mutt and when you breed them, that's what you get more of, just without the sexing feature at hatch.

That said, they are chickens. Often terrific chickens in the egg laying department.
