What is the sex of my buff Cochin?

I got a free chick with my batch and now at 5 weeks old I would like to try to identify whether it’s a cockerel or a pullet. Any ideas?

Cochins mature slowly, and it's early for any kind of chick, but right now I say pullet. There's barely any red on it, and the comb isn't very big. A better picture of the comb would help.

Thank you all! I was planning on waiting but since I am in 4-H I have a ownership deadline coming up so was just wanting to know if my assumptions were correct. I’ve only ever had female Cochin chicks so never had to guess. The other one who’s black is fully feathered out but this one did seem a bit like a runt.

I'd have to say its likely this is a cockerel. Don't hang your hat on that though, it could also trick us all and become a pullet... Give it a little time.

It’s a Cockerel. The comb got very red and large soon after I posted
