Any ideas on what our exotic chick is. We got "her" from McMurray Hatchery along with 52 Australorps. Any insight into what breed she is would be greatly appreciated. She is definitely very pretty!

I do believe that's not a pullet but a cockeral... saddle? feathers give it away....

There are no pointy saddles on the bird-those are all rounded, plus a RIR cockerel has a much larger comb by that age. Some will fool you, but I've hatched quite a few RIRs here and I'm pretty sure that's a pullet.

Yep, definitely a RIR pullet there. She may not be exotic, but at least she is a girl and not a boy! I'd take a plain girl instead of an exotic boy any day......
