I've noticed a few people mention Vet Rx in posts.

    What is it?

I tried to do a search, but it pulled up every post with the word 'Vet' in it. [IMG]

Vet Rx is a topical solution that can be used on poultry to heal wounds, or in our case, to make the comb and wattles "redden up" at a poultry show. It does tend to leave a white "dusty coating" on the comb and wattles if it is used too much. It can be hard to find. We have to go out of the county to buy ours. You can also get it online.

    Do they drink it?

Or like vicks vapor rub - do you rub it on their little throats? [IMG] Just kidding!

We dip a Q-tip into the liquid and then rub it all over the comb and wattles.
