Hi all, I am looking to hopefully throw some light on why my two Barred Rock chicks do not have much feather growth.
They are now 2weeks old, and I expected they would have more growth that they do. Compared to the others, they seem to be falling well behind.
I have some photos of them and some of my other 2 week old babies, for comparison.
Should I be concerned, or is it quite normal?
I didn’t think slow feather growth was a trait of this breed?
The chicks in these photos were all purchased from the same place on the same day, all at a day old, 2 weeks ago.
I suspect they could be males, but too little growth, I would’ve thought to be sure.
